Executive Engineer – Electrical/Mechanical Rolling Stock & Depot

About the role

The Executive Engineer will join a multidisciplinary team focused on the engineering of rolling stock and depot equipment. You will contribute to projects ranging from MRT and LRT trains to specialised maintenance vehicles and depot automation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop technical specifications for rolling stock and depot equipment.
• Review and assess design submissions from suppliers.
• Identify and drive engineering initiatives to improve reliability, operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams within LTA, railway operators and contractors.
• Provide technical support to project teams throughout all project phases.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.
• Good appreciation of MRT system complexity and interface requirements.
• Eagerness to learn and develop expertise in rolling stock and depot design.
• Analytical, resourceful and results‑oriented team player.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays and to travel overseas for testing and inspections.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
