Executive Engineer – Traffic Analysis & Projects

About the role

This position supports the planning, assessment and delivery of bus priority measures at bus stops across Singapore. You will help improve bus safety and commuter experience by designing, reviewing and implementing traffic schemes in close collaboration with internal teams and bus operators.

Key responsibilities

• Identify operational issues at bus stops and recommend suitable traffic measures.
• Design and review traffic schemes and coordinate their implementation.
• Work with the Bus Safety Tripartite Taskforce to deliver island‑wide bus safety programmes.
• Ensure assessments are conducted consistently and efficiently.
• Leverage traffic, operational and GIS data to support data‑driven decision‑making.
• Monitor and review the effectiveness of implemented measures.

Required profile

• A degree in Transportation Planning, Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Experience in public transport operations, traffic management or a related area (preferred).
• Strong analytical ability with a data‑driven mindset.
• Hands‑on experience with data analysis tools such as Python and visualisation platforms like Tableau.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Proactive, collaborative problem‑solver with a passion for improving public transport.
