Executive Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking an Executive Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management and procurement activities across our construction projects. The role involves overseeing quantity take‑offs, budgeting, and tender processes to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quantity take‑offs and cost estimations for materials such as rebars, tiles, etc.
• Order materials, track budgets, and monitor actual construction costs against contracts.
• Prepare and submit tender documents, negotiate and award contracts to vendors.
• Administer contract documents, prepare bills of quantities, and manage variations and payments for subcontractors.
• Advise project teams on contractual rights, arbitration procedures, and dispute resolution.
• Ensure meticulous cost and schedule assessments throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Strong numerical ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
• Knowledge of construction materials, procurement methods, and building works.
• Familiarity with Singapore contract law is an advantage.
• 5‑day work week.
