Executive / Senior Executive – Line Operations

About the role

Join the Line Operations team as an Executive or Senior Executive and act as the professional bridge between Vessel Masters, Line Management, and local agents. You will be responsible for safe vessel planning, cost reduction, and ensuring smooth operational execution across multiple trade routes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Line Management in selecting vessels based on load ability and operational suitability.
• Execute voyage instructions for newly chartered vessels and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
• Maximise vessel stowage while minimising shut‑outs, restows, and ensuring safety and stability requirements.
• Plan stowage in line with DG segregation, lashing parameters, line‑of‑sight, and trim regulations.
• Monitor vessel reports for accuracy and timely submission.
• Provide speed‑adjustment instructions to Captains and coordinate bunkering operations with local agencies.
• Advise on draft and load ability for draft‑restricted ports and manage berth windows with port agents.
• Screen special stowage requests and enforce company policy.
• Track tug usage and raise queries on excess usage.
• Monitor SDRs, inform legal when claims arise, and support PRF cost control.
• Update forecasts, utilization details, and support Business Transformation initiatives such as EDI integration.
• Own day‑to‑day operational matters for assigned vessels and perform any other duties assigned by senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Maritime Studies or University degree (fresh graduates welcomed).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication, time‑management and organisational abilities.
• Willingness to work out‑of‑hours when required.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
