Fashion Designer – Activewear & Sportswear

About the role

We are looking for a creative Fashion Designer to develop activewear, sportswear and performance apparel for the Bodynits brand. The role involves translating market trends into seasonal collections while ensuring functionality, comfort and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Design activewear, sportswear and performance apparel aligned with Bodynits’ brand identity and market trends.
• Develop seasonal concepts, mood boards, colour palettes, fabric direction and product stories.
• Create detailed technical sketches, specifications and design packs for sampling and production.
• Source and select performance fabrics, trims and accessories, reviewing samples and conducting fittings.
• Collaborate with merchandising, product development and production teams to ensure design feasibility and timeline alignment.
• Monitor market trends, competitor products and consumer preferences to propose innovative ideas.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design or related field.
• 1–3 years experience in activewear, sportswear, lingerie or athleisure design.
• Strong understanding of technical fabrics, performance materials and garment construction.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Experience with garment design software.
