F&B Reservations Officer

About the role

The F&B Reservations Officer supports the Reservations Manager in overseeing food‑and‑beverage reservation operations for a hotel in Singapore. The role ensures that all bookings are accurately recorded, maximises outlet occupancy, and contributes to revenue growth while maintaining strong relationships with guests and business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily reservations for hotel outlets and third‑party platforms, ensuring all data is entered correctly in the Sevenrooms system.
• Monitor booking demand, trends, and occupancy levels to achieve 100% outlet utilisation.
• Re‑confirm all reservations, including seminars, group bookings, and private rooms, and manage deposits for groups of ten or more.
• Coordinate with outlet teams, the Events Team, and other departments during high‑demand periods to avoid discrepancies.
• Update promotional information across relevant channels and ensure accurate communication to all stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing monthly rosters when required.
• Track and meet monthly upsell targets while keeping abandoned call rates below 3%.
• Handle guest complaints, conduct investigations, and liaise with the Reservations Manager for resolution.
• Lead the monthly reservations meeting, set agendas, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple reservations simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests, business contacts, and internal teams.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on revenue optimisation and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure during peak periods.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Sevenrooms reservation platform.
• Experience using e‑mail direct‑mail (eDM) tools for promotional blasts.
