Finance Director – Singapore

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Director for our Singapore office to support the Head of Finance. The role will oversee expense processing, regulatory and statutory reporting, profit and loss analysis, and drive finance projects for the Singapore branch and Capital Market Service license entity.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of internal and external financial reporting, regulatory reporting, statutory reporting, profit and loss reporting and variance analysis.
• Review new products and advise on regulatory and accounting structures and systems.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reporting requirements to MAS on schedule.
• Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external auditors, advisors and regulators.
• Apply financial controls such as review of suspense accounts, incentive compensation accounts, aged items, reconciliations and policy application to provide accurate financial information.
• Prepare and file financial statements and support the tax team with information for income tax returns and international transfer pricing requirements.
• Maintain and enhance financial reporting systems to improve automation, accuracy and efficiency.

Required profile

• Ability to provide accurate financial information and manage finance staff.
• Experience in handling expense processing, regulatory and statutory reporting.
• Capability to maintain relationships with auditors and regulators.
