Associate Director - Business Execution

About the role

As an Associate Director – Business Execution you will support the development and execution of the Transaction Banking strategy across Asia, the US and Europe. Working closely with the Head of Business Execution and regional heads, you will help drive performance, profitability and operational efficiency for the franchise.

Key responsibilities

• Drive execution of strategic priorities, business initiatives and transformation programmes for Transaction Banking.
• Partner with Finance, Product, Coverage, Risk, Compliance and Institutional teams to align and deliver business objectives.
• Monitor business performance through financial reviews, pipeline management, sales metrics and cost analytics.
• Prepare board papers, management reports, leadership updates and governance materials.
• Coordinate leadership forums and strategic meetings, ensuring clear actions and timely follow‑up.
• Provide data‑driven insights using financial, customer, market and competitor information.
• Support customer initiatives, balance‑sheet forecasting, ALCO activities and data‑governance compliance.
• Strengthen the control environment by supporting audit remediation, risk governance and regulatory obligations.

Required profile

• Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
• Solid understanding of business planning, financial management, budgeting and performance reporting.
• Proven experience in banking, preferably Transaction, Corporate or Institutional Banking.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and data interpretation skills.
• Experience preparing executive‑level presentations and governance materials.
• Demonstrated relationship‑building and influencing skills across senior stakeholders and geographies.
• Project management, organisational and change‑management capabilities.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Banking, Accounting or related field; professional qualifications a plus.
