Finance Manager, Commodity Trading

About the role

A leading Chinese commodity trading company is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead its finance operations in Singapore. This strategic position oversees finance, treasury, reporting and business partnering to support the company’s continued growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations, including financial reporting and month‑end/year‑end closing.
• Oversee cash flow, treasury activities, banking relationships and funding.
• Prepare management reports, budgets, forecasts and financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial policies and governance processes.
• Partner with senior management to provide commercial and financial insights.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline (ACCA/CPA preferred).
• 10+ years of finance and accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of full‑set accounting, financial reporting, treasury, taxation and internal controls.
• Experience in commodity trading, energy, manufacturing or fast‑paced corporate environment is highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin preferred for regional interaction.
