Finance Manager

About the role

Our client, a Singapore‑based construction and property group, is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the Group’s accounting and financial functions. The role will provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions and ensure strong financial governance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, strategic analysis, project feasibility studies, due diligence and cost‑benefit analysis.
• Oversee cash‑flow forecasting, management and planning for the entire Group.
• Prepare annual budgets and present financial plans and analysis to Management and Shareholders.
• Produce monthly performance and variance reports, highlighting budget versus actual results.
• Coordinate statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore statutory and regulatory requirements (ACRA, IRAS, BCA, URA).
• Manage relationships with auditors, company secretaries, bankers, tax authorities and other advisors.
• Develop and review accounting policies, procedures and the Group’s Accounting & Financial Manual.
• Identify financial and operational risks and recommend mitigating measures.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline; CPA/CA qualification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, auditing and financial management.
• Relevant experience in the construction and/or property development industry.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting, taxation and statutory requirements.
• Proven experience in group consolidation, financial reporting, budgeting and cash‑flow management.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
