Finance Manager (Construction)

About the role

The Finance Manager will initially focus on hands‑on finance operations, month‑end close, and reporting. Over time, the role expands to oversee finance operations, statutory compliance, and management reporting for the Alpina Holdings Pte Ltd Group in line with Savills Singapore requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full financial accounting function for the group, including general ledger, reconciliations, and inter‑company transactions.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, half‑yearly and year‑end closing processes within set timelines.
• Prepare and review management accounts, variance analysis and business performance insights.
• Ensure reporting aligns with Savills Singapore consolidation requirements and supports board pack preparation.
• Maintain compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, GST and corporate tax obligations.
• Liaise with Group Finance, external auditors, tax advisors and regulatory authorities.
• Maintain audit‑ready records, supporting schedules and documentation.
• Oversee end‑to‑end finance operations: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll interface and cash management.
• Strengthen financial controls around project accounting, cost allocation and revenue recognition.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA equivalent.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in project accounting, construction, M&E or facilities‑related businesses.
• Strong understanding of Singapore accounting, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage tight reporting timelines and multi‑entity structures.
• Hands‑on, detail‑oriented and comfortable operating in evolving environments.
