Financial Analyst – Project Cost & FP&A

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join the finance team at Marina Bay Sands. The role focuses on tracking and reporting capital project costs, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and driving continuous improvement in the FP&A function.

Key responsibilities

• Manage set‑up of capital projects in the general ledger and related databases, tracking capital expenditure, additional funding and phase approvals.
• Review, record and recommend purchase requisitions and contracts for approved capital projects.
• Collect actual spend data, reconcile with Fixed Assets reports and issue periodic cost reports to stakeholders.
• Assist department requestors in obtaining management approvals for project funding, maintaining electronic records of approved requests.
• Support the financial planning process, including annual capital budgeting, forecasts and strategic plans; prepare presentations for senior management.
• Recommend and support process improvements, automation of databases and participation in service quality audits.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in FP&A or project cost accounting.
• Background in Fixed Assets is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
