Financial Controller

About the role

We are an emerging retail organisation seeking a Financial Controller to join our Singapore team. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the full spectrum of controllership and accounting activities, driving finance transformation and strengthening governance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial and management reporting, group consolidation and statutory reporting.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes, audits and accounting policy compliance.
• Develop and enforce internal controls and financial governance frameworks.
• Partner with business stakeholders on accounting implications of initiatives, investments and organisational changes.
• Lead a team of qualified finance professionals, fostering continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in retail or consumer‑facing industries.
• Proven track record in finance transformation and business process re‑engineering within a regional environment.
• Hands‑on leadership style, resilient and passionate about developing people and building finance capabilities.
