Front Desk Agent – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are looking for a Front Desk Agent to join Mondrian Singapore, a vibrant luxury hotel located on Duxton Hill. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering personalized service and ensuring a seamless check‑in and check‑out experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Handle reservations, walk‑ins, VIP guests, groups, and special requests using the hotel’s internal system.
• Respond to guest inquiries, accidents, or thefts within a 20‑minute response window and record all matters in Nuvola.
• Maintain the reception hand‑over book, update guest feedback, and ensure privacy and confidentiality.
• Manage front‑desk supplies, monitor par stock, and place orders as needed.
• Process cash, credit card, voucher, and third‑party payments in accordance with hotel credit policy.
• Promote up‑selling opportunities to maximize room rates.
• Keep the work area clean and organized at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably within hospitality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong multitasking ability and keen attention to detail.
• Calm, professional demeanor when handling guest issues.

• Computerized cash register systems.
• Proficiency with the Nuvola internal communication platform.
