Frontend Engineer – Creation Team

About the role

BandLab Technologies is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join its Creation Team in Singapore. You will help shape the user experience for music makers by building real‑time audio interfaces and delivering high‑performance web features.

Key responsibilities

• Build and refine UI components for real‑time audio effects, including effect chains, presets, parameter controls and Web Audio integrations.
• Collaborate with audio and backend engineers to define APIs and data structures for the frontend.
• Create prototypes and user‑facing features in cross‑functional teams.
• Optimize existing web applications for performance and scalability.
• Develop responsive web applications for desktop and mobile browsers.
• Implement performance monitoring, error tracking, and efficiency tools.
• Participate in code reviews and drive continuous improvement through refactoring and new design patterns.

Required profile

• 1‑2+ years of frontend development experience.
• Experience building audio applications with the Web Audio API or highly interactive web apps.
• Strong knowledge of browser rendering optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS with a focus on accessibility.
• Hands‑on experience with Vue and familiarity with older frameworks such as AngularJS, jQuery, or vanilla JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of modern UI frameworks like React, Vue, or Svelte.
• Experience with modern build tools (Vite, Rollup, Parcel).
• Good grasp of design principles and user‑experience design.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
