Desktop Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Desktop Engineer to join our technical support team in Singapore. In this role you will provide on‑site and remote technical assistance, ensuring seamless daily business operations and maintaining service level agreements for end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues on laptops, desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Deploy, configure, and upgrade Windows and macOS environments, including creating and maintaining baseline system images.
• Support productivity suites and cloud collaboration tools, as well as email, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.
• Manage remote access and VPN connectivity issues.
• Monitor support queues, handle walk‑in requests, and log incidents in an enterprise ticketing platform to meet SLA targets.
• Investigate recurring issues, develop corrective actions, and update standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a helpdesk, desktop support, or IT field services role.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage daily workloads.
• Effective communication skills for handling user escalations.
