General Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our operations across Singapore. The role involves steering strategic growth, managing budgets, and ensuring high performance across all business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations and ensure productivity
• Design strategy and set goals for growth
• Maintain budgets and optimise expenses
• Set policies and processes across the organisation
• Oversee recruitment, training and professional development of staff
• Evaluate and improve operational and financial performance
• Direct employee assessment processes and prepare regular reports for senior management
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Provide solutions to issues such as profit decline, employee conflicts, or competitive losses

Required profile

• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
• Experience in planning and budgeting
• Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.)
• Strong analytical ability and problem‑solving aptitude
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work on weekends and public holidays when required
