General Manager – Restaurant

About the role

The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of our restaurant, driving high‑quality service, cost efficiency and revenue growth. You will set the standard for professionalism, appearance and punctuality while leading a diverse team of managers, supervisors and front‑of‑house staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the Restaurant Manager, supervisors, wait staff and hosts to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain strict standards of personal appearance, hygiene and workplace cleanliness.
• Control costs and expenses while maximizing top‑line revenue and profit.
• Deliver courteous, professional service and ensure all staff follow the same example.
• Operate the existing POS system and manage inventory of products and equipment.
• Plan daily routines, assign tasks, and monitor performance of sub‑ordinates.
• Handle guest enquiries and complaints promptly and courteously.
• Enforce opening and closing procedures and report disciplinary incidents.
• Coordinate annual operational reviews and support supplier relationships.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in restaurant or food‑and‑beverage management.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and drive financial performance.
• Strong organisational skills with a focus on detail and cleanliness.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
