Government & Public Sector Practice Director

About the role

PwC is seeking a senior leader to head its Government & Public Sector (G&PS) practice in Southeast Asia. The director will shape market strategy, drive revenue growth and ensure successful delivery of large‑scale public‑sector programmes for Singapore government agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, originate and close major public‑sector opportunities across Singapore ministries and agencies.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market plans, build a pre‑engaged pipeline and lead proposal development.
• Expand PwC’s footprint through repeat business, cross‑agency collaborations and partner alignment.
• Establish trusted relationships with senior government stakeholders and act as a strategic advisor on transformation initiatives.
• Own overall client success, oversee programme outcomes, manage escalations and drive repeat engagements.
• Provide executive oversight of key programmes, ensure alignment with client expectations and manage delivery risks.
• Collaborate with system integrators and technology partners to co‑sell and co‑deliver solutions, strengthening PwC’s position in the government ecosystem.
• Meet revenue, growth and profitability targets, manage pipeline conversion and account expansion.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in consulting or public‑sector roles, with a strong track record in business development and sales.
• Proven ability to engage senior government officials and influence transformation agendas.
• Demonstrated success in managing large, complex programmes and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and driving profitability in a professional services environment.
