Group Financial Controller / CFO – SGX Listed Manufacturing

About the role

The Group Financial Controller / CFO will be the most senior finance executive for a Singapore‑listed manufacturing group with operations in Singapore and Malaysia. Reporting directly to the CEO and Executive Chairman, the role drives finance transformation, strengthens governance, and supports strategic decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Group finance function across Singapore and Malaysia, acting as principal finance advisor to the CEO, Executive Chairman and Board.
• Oversee consolidation, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, including SGX statutory, management and Board reporting.
• Maintain a strong control environment, ensure regulatory compliance and manage external audit relationships.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives such as ERP implementation, process automation and month‑end close efficiency.
• Improve manufacturing costing, inventory controls, product profitability analysis and working‑capital management.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team across both countries.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Recognised professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Extensive experience leading finance functions in multi‑entity, listed manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record with SGX reporting, statutory compliance and audit coordination.
