Group Financial Controller – International Investment Group

About the role

We are supporting a global private equity firm in hiring a Group Financial Controller to lead finance operations across multiple countries. The role combines controllership, cash‑flow oversight and strategic finance partnering for an international investment platform.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership on group strategy, budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning.
• Own group cash flow, liquidity, capital allocation and capex planning.
• Oversee group‑wide management reporting, consolidation and preparation of financial statements.
• Manage multi‑entity accounting, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing and tax matters.
• Lead audits and ensure timely, compliant financial reporting.
• Strengthen governance, internal controls and financial policies across the group.
• Drive process improvements, standardisation and operational efficiency.
• Support strategic initiatives including investments, divestments and cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA/ACCA or equivalent) with over 15 years of experience, preferably Big 4 trained.
• Strong technical accounting and consolidation expertise.
• Experience at group level with multi‑entity / regional exposure.
• Proven cash‑flow management, capex and treasury experience.
• Exposure to FP&A and to PE‑backed or holding‑company environments.
• Excellent business partnering skills with senior stakeholders.
• Resilient, hands‑on and commercially minded personality.
