Head of Public Sector Practice – Singapore

About the role

Cygnify is looking for a strategic Sales Director to lead its established Public Sector Practice in Singapore. This is an entrepreneurial, high-visibility leadership role for a sophisticated sales executive who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to drive large-scale, citizen-centric innovation. You will lead the strategic expansion of the public sector portfolio, including go-to-market strategy, institutional partnerships and high-value digital transformation contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Map the Singapore public sector landscape to identify and capture digital transformation opportunities across ministries and statutory boards.
• Shape, capture and close multi-year enterprise contracts, covering the full sales lifecycle from engagement to commercial negotiation.
• Build trusted-advisor relationships with public sector CXOs, technology directors and key policy influencers.
• Identify seed investment opportunities within client ecosystems to co-create bespoke technological solutions.

Required profile

• 15+ years in business development, enterprise sales or strategic account management within the Singapore public sector and government.
• Proven track record of large-scale technology deals in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud modernization and digital public services.
• Comfortable with offshore, nearshore and cross-border delivery models.
• Exceptionally articulate, able to present and negotiate at the highest levels of government and civil service.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Public Policy or a related field is highly desirable.

• Data-driven account planning, stakeholder mapping and account-based marketing.
• Ability to align technology architectures with public sector operating models and large-scale change management.
• Designing and leading client workshops to map digital roadmaps.
