HR Business Partner (HRBP) – Retail

About the role

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will work closely with the Senior HR Manager to support the Retail leadership team. This role provides comprehensive HR generalist services aligned with business objectives and drives people‑focused solutions across the retail operation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day HR services including manpower planning, compensation & benefits, talent development, employee engagement, succession planning and performance management.
• Provide consultation and coaching to retail leaders on employee‑relations matters.
• Collaborate with Indonesia HR and Zone HR Centres of Excellence (Compensation & Benefits, Talent Management) to design talent solutions.
• Utilise HR analytics to inform and support people‑related decisions.
• Stay updated on talent market trends, HR best practices and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
• 5‑10 years of HR generalist experience, including at least 3 years in HR Business Partnering, preferably in retail or services.
• Highly motivated, hands‑on and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confidence to interact at all staff levels.
• Good knowledge of employment law, regulations and HR practices.
