HR Manager – Commodities Trading (Singapore)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the human resources function for our commodities trading business in Singapore. The role partners directly with the CEO to align people strategy with business objectives and ensures a compliant, high‑performing workforce across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end talent acquisition, manage recruitment agencies, and enhance employer branding.
• Act as HR Business Partner to the CEO, advising on organisational design, performance management and talent development.
• Oversee compensation and benefits, payroll coordination, salary benchmarking and compliance with local tax regulations.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, maintain accurate HR records, and coordinate immigration and work‑pass applications.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, investigations and ensure compliance with Singapore Employment Act and other relevant laws.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 7–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HR Manager or Senior HRBP role.
• Broad experience across recruitment, HRBP, HR operations and compensation & benefits.
• Experience in multinational companies and familiarity with Singapore employment legislation.
• Ability to support regional businesses and work across jurisdictions such as Switzerland and Indonesia.
