HR Specialist / Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a proactive HR Specialist/Assistant to support our human resources operations. The role involves a mix of administrative, payroll, and employee‑service tasks, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day HR processes.

Key responsibilities

• Key in timesheets for payroll processing and assist with basic accounting tasks.
• Handle phone inquiries, arrange interviews, and manage weekly manpower updates.
• Maintain HRIS, HRApp, and employee P‑files; keep project allocation records up to date.
• Process claims such as NS makeup pay, GPL, FWL waiver, and other government grants.
• Administer work passes (WPOL & EPOL) and coordinate workers' dormitory logistics.
• Manage leave administration, training enrolment, insurance renewals and claim submissions.
• Organise company recreation events and perform ad‑hoc office administration duties as assigned.

Required profile

• A or O level education; fresh graduates are welcome.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar HR or administrative capacity, though freshers may apply.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• IT‑savvy with ability to navigate HRIS, HRApp and maintain databases.
• Basic understanding of payroll, work‑pass administration and claim processing.
