Human Resources Director

About the role

The Human Resources Director will provide strategic and operational HR leadership for a sizeable, unionised organisation with a large footprint across Singapore. Reporting to senior business leadership, the role will shape the people agenda, drive workforce planning and support future growth.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, aligning people strategies with commercial objectives.
• Lead workforce planning, talent management, organisational effectiveness, employee engagement and leadership development initiatives.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation & benefits, succession planning, employee relations and HR compliance.
• Maintain a strong presence across frontline operations, fostering positive workforce relations and a high‑performing culture.
• Partner with business leaders to translate strategic priorities into hands‑on HR execution.

Required profile

• Significant HR leadership experience in complex, operationally intensive environments.
• Proven track record of partnering with senior stakeholders and leading transformative people initiatives.
• Experience managing large, geographically dispersed workforces and navigating workforce‑relations matters.
• Ability to balance strategic vision with practical, hands‑on execution.
