Human Resources Generalist – Excavation Division

About the role

Caterpillar’s Excavation Division is seeking a proactive Human Resources Generalist to support division‑wide HR processes, automation initiatives, and organizational effectiveness. You will partner with senior leaders and the Global Director of Aftermarket & Services to enhance employee experience and drive business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation and AI solutions for HR processes across the Excavation Division.
• Analyze workforce trends and recommend data‑driven solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with leaders to advance talent, engagement, performance, and workforce initiatives.
• Lead organizational and people‑related change initiatives.
• Promote an inclusive, positive workplace culture where employees can grow.
• Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies and practices.
• Prepare recommendations for senior management on recruitment, turnover, training, and other HR matters.
• Conduct organizational effectiveness assessments and design programs to address identified gaps.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of data gathering, reporting techniques, and HR analytics.
• Understanding of corporate vision, structure, culture, and ethical standards.
• Proven decision‑making and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Collaborative, solutions‑oriented mindset with excellent relationship‑building skills.
