Human Resources Generalist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to lead HR operations in our Singapore plant. You will partner with HR Shared Services to ensure accurate payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end payroll processing in line with Singapore legislation.
• Administer the time‑attendance system and track employee hours.
• Handle leaver settlements, tax clearance, and work‑pass management for foreign staff.
• Oversee leave, benefits enrollment, and HR transactions while ensuring compliance with policies and statutory requirements.
• Respond promptly to employee and manager inquiries on payroll, leave, and benefits.
• Identify and implement process improvements for HR and payroll operations.
• Prepare HR reports, analytics, and statutory submissions.
• Plan and execute engagement and wellness initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support HR and organizational goals.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business Management, Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, with strong payroll and benefits expertise.
• Solid knowledge of Singapore HR legislation, CPF and IRAS statutory requirements.
• Experience in a plant or manufacturing environment and handling foreign employees.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving and process‑thinking abilities.
