IT Security Officer – 12‑month Contract

About the role

We are seeking an IT Security Officer on a 12‑month contract to support a critical public‑sector project in Singapore. The role involves protecting the client’s information assets, ensuring compliance with security standards, and delivering robust security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls across network, operating systems and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and monitor alerts using SIEM platforms.
• Develop and automate security scripts using Python and PowerShell.
• Ensure alignment with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.
• Provide guidance and incident response support to project teams.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of experience in an IT security or related cybersecurity role.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud security concepts and major cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools and SIEM solutions.
• Ability to script in Python or PowerShell for automation.
• CISSP and/or CISM certification is mandatory.
• Available to start within one month in Singapore without sponsorship.
