Junior Legal Counsel (Technology)

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Legal Counsel specialized in technology to support DADACONSULTANTS' market expansion and daily operations across Singapore and other markets. The role involves providing practical legal advice, drafting agreements, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a fast‑moving tech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support market expansion and business operations by conducting legal and regulatory research and delivering practical advice.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal support on commercial matters, regulatory compliance, corporate governance and local regulatory requirements.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, business contracts, platform policies and other legal documents.
• Identify and assess legal and compliance risks arising from business activities and work with internal stakeholders to develop solutions.
• Handle complex or sensitive matters such as employee relations, customer disputes, complaints and regulatory issues.
• Monitor changes in local laws and regulations and communicate implications to relevant business teams.
• Coordinate with external counsel and professional advisors as needed.
• Develop and deliver legal and compliance guidelines and training to strengthen compliance awareness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law from a reputable university.
• 1–3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in an internet/platform, technology, multinational corporation or reputable law firm.
• Strong interest in technology, innovation and fast‑paced commercial environments.
• Ability to independently identify and assess legal risks and provide business‑oriented solutions.
• Proactive, self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and comfortable working in a fast‑changing environment.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of commercial contracts and regulatory matters.
• Knowledge of corporate legal issues and compliance requirements.
