About the role
A&O Shearman is a global law firm with a leading arbitration practice in Singapore, serving clients across ASEAN and India. As an Associate you will join the market‑leading Singapore arbitration team, handling commercial and investor‑state arbitrations as well as related court matters.
Required profile
- Experience working in the APAC region.
- Experience in complex cross‑border and multi‑jurisdictional litigation for an international law firm.
- Experience in commercial arbitrations and investment treaty arbitrations, including large‑scale international arbitrations and price review proceedings.
- Strong client relationship skills and commercial acumen with the ability to deliver creative, pragmatic advice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interfacing at all levels and building strong internal and external relationships.
- Collaborative team player able to thrive in a fast‑paced, intellectually rigorous environment.
