Junior Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

Wingfin is building autonomous‑driving systems and seeks an entry‑level Machine Learning Engineer to join its Singapore team. You will work with large real‑world driving datasets, helping to prepare data and support model development for perception, planning and control.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process large autonomous‑driving datasets for ML training.
• Build pipelines to extract, clean, filter, label and organise sensor data.
• Inspect datasets for errors, inconsistencies and quality issues.
• Develop tools to automatically identify useful driving scenarios and training examples.
• Validate datasets before they enter model‑training pipelines.
• Run ML experiments and analyse results.
• Collaborate with engineers developing perception, planning and control models.
• Help improve training and evaluation infrastructure as datasets and models grow.
• Investigate failures and unusual model behaviour by tracing through code and data.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physics, Mathematics or Engineering with a strong academic record.
• Practical experience with machine learning through university projects, research, competitions or independent experimentation.
• Curiosity, hands‑on experimentation mindset and ability to work with real data.
