Junior Sales Executive – Japanese Speaker

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Sales Executive who is fluent in Japanese to join our client, a leading Japanese food manufacturing company operating in Singapore. This client‑facing position focuses on acquiring new customers and expanding relationships across bakeries, cafés, restaurants, and other food service establishments.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers through cold calling, prospecting, networking and on‑site visits.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable product solutions, including product presentations, sampling and menu proposals.
• Collaborate with distributor sales representatives on joint visits and support distributor‑led sales initiatives.
• Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, product demonstrations, workshops and other promotional events.
• Gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activity and provide regular reports on customer interactions and business development progress.
