Junior Social Media Manager

About the role

This freelance position supports an animation club that works with primary schools in London. You will help grow the club’s online presence by curating and publishing engaging visual and video content across its website and social channels.

Key responsibilities

• Update and refresh website and social‑media imagery.
• Integrate new visuals and videos from animators and video editors.
• Curate and post promotional videos, testimonials and standout student projects.
• Provide constructive feedback to tutors on content quality and student work.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar for regular posting.
• Monitor engagement metrics, report on campaign performance and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Experience managing Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter) and LinkedIn accounts.
• Strong content curation and copywriting abilities.
• Ability to review creative work and give constructive feedback.
• Familiarity with digital‑marketing and audience‑engagement strategies.
• Understanding of the education sector and children’s content.
• Proficiency with basic image and video editing tools.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Based in or familiar with the London education landscape and available for ongoing collaboration.
