KDB+/Q Developer – Up to SGD 310k + Bonus (Singapore)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading global hedge fund to hire a KDB+/Q Developer in Singapore. You will work on high‑performance, low‑latency systems that power real‑time trading and analytics across global markets, collaborating closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and portfolio managers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise high‑performance KDB+/q applications for real‑time market data.
• Build scalable, low‑latency infrastructure supporting research, analytics, and trading workflows.
• Partner with quants, traders, and portfolio managers to deliver robust production systems.
• Contribute to the evolution of critical trading and market‑data platforms.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another STEM discipline.
• At least 1 year of commercial experience developing with KDB+/q.
• Experience in financial markets, trading, or real‑time data environments is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for solving complex technical challenges.
