Kitchen Supervisor

About the role

The Kitchen Supervisor will lead daily operations of our food service facility, ensuring smooth workflow, high-quality service, and strict adherence to safety and hygiene standards. This role reports directly to management and works closely with vendors and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day kitchen operations and staff scheduling.
• Plan resources, forecast needs, and manage inventory to minimise waste.
• Maintain proper food storage, handling, and waste control.
• Foster positive communication with team members, management, vendors and clients.
• Implement site safety policies, handle emergencies, and file accident reports.
• Supervise, evaluate and train staff; conduct performance reviews and maintain attendance records.
• Interview, onboard and train new hires.
• Set goals, track assignments and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products and services.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in KTV, restaurant service, retail or a similar environment.
• At least a Certificate in Food & Beverage Service.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
