L2 Production Support (Banking)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated L2 Production Support Engineer to join our banking technology team. You will work 24x7 on core banking applications, ensuring high availability and rapid issue resolution for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level‑2 production support for core banking systems on a 24x7 basis.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Java J2EE applications, Unix environments, and SQL databases.
• Handle job scheduling, MQ configuration, and C:D setup when required.
• Use ticketing and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Elasticsearch and Grafana to track incidents and performance.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to meet SLAs and maintain service quality.

Required profile

• Graduate in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in application support or development.
• Strong willingness to learn and a proactive, ownership‑oriented attitude.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Java, J2EE
• SQL
• Unix/Linux command line
• Experience with Sunline Core Banking (preferred)
• Job scheduling, MQ setup, C:D configuration (a plus)
• Familiarity with ticketing tools
