AVP/VP Data Engineering & Analytics (PB Commercial Office)

About the role

The Advanced Vice President / Vice President will lead data engineering and analytics initiatives for the Private Banking Commercial Office. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines while turning complex data into actionable insights for business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data workflows.
• Integrate data from multiple sources into unified, high‑quality datasets.
• Ensure data consistency, reliability, and governance across systems.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement data solutions and document architecture and technical metadata.
• Perform end‑to‑end user testing to validate new datasets.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends and generate dashboards using Qlik Sense, Nprinting and other BI tools.
• Translate business requirements into data queries, visualisations and ad‑hoc analyses.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, IT or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering, data management, analytics or BI.
• Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python, Java and R.
• Experience with big‑data technologies (HDFS, Hive, Impala) and data governance frameworks.
• Hands‑on knowledge of BI tools like Qlik Sense, Nprinting, Tableau or MS BI.
