Laboratory Team Leader

About the role

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Laboratory Team Leader to coordinate daily activities within a laboratory department, serve as the first point of contact for technicians and management, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily laboratory operations, ensuring tasks are executed efficiently.
• Monitor equipment performance and address any technical issues.
• Ensure adherence to safety rules and regulatory requirements (MOH, biosafety, waste management).
• Act as primary liaison between laboratory technicians, management, and external regulatory bodies.
• Investigate and resolve analytical and post‑analytical sample issues.
• Develop and propose improvements to work processes, procedures, and regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating laboratory activities and supervising staff.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to handle complex issues.
• Good understanding of regulatory frameworks and safety standards.
• Effective communication skills for interfacing with internal teams and external authorities.
