Leasing Executive - Retail Portfolio

About the role

A dynamic real estate management organisation is recruiting a Leasing Executive to shape the retail landscape of a diverse leasing portfolio. You will drive occupancy and rental performance across assigned developments, combining business development, tenant relations and strategic planning. The role suits a commercially minded person who enjoys building lasting business relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and implement leasing strategies to achieve the desired trade mix across the retail portfolio.
• Generate leads proactively and manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and deal closure.
• Identify target market segments, liaise with leasing agents and deliver sales presentations and site viewings to prospective tenants.
• Maximise rental income and occupancy through effective leasing initiatives.
• Secure new tenancies and renew existing leases, negotiating terms and following up to ensure timely execution.
• Coordinate with internal departments on lease documentation, administration and compliance.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing tenants to drive referrals and repeat business.
• Stay informed on retail sector trends to inform leasing decisions.
• Prepare annual budgets, monthly financial reports and performance summaries.
• Work with marketing and other departments on promotional events and tenant engagement.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Real Estate Management or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in retail leasing and/or real estate marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal English, able to engage stakeholders confidently.
• Creative, resourceful and solutions-oriented, with a systematic approach to problem-solving under tight deadlines.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving environment.
• An established network in the food & beverage and retail industry is highly advantageous.
