Leasing Manager

About the role

A well-established mall management organisation is seeking an experienced Leasing Manager to lead its leasing function and drive occupancy and revenue performance. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will oversee the full leasing cycle and guide a team of an Assistant Leasing Manager, Senior Leasing Executive and Leasing Executive. This is a senior, high-impact role combining strategy, relationship management and commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and supervise the leasing team, set KPIs and performance objectives, coach and develop staff, run performance reviews and coordinate workload.
• Develop and execute leasing strategies to maximise occupancy and rental income, and identify, source and secure tenants aligned with the mall's positioning.
• Oversee mall tours, presentations and proposals, negotiate lease terms, rental rates and documentation, and monitor market trends and competitor activity.
• Cultivate relationships with tenants, brokers and stakeholders; manage lease renewals, relocations, expansions and terminations; support tenants through onboarding and fit-out.
• Partner with marketing on tenant acquisition campaigns and promotions, and work with operations, design and facilities management on tenant handovers and fit-outs.
• Contribute to tenant mix planning, zoning and mall layout, and deliver leasing progress updates and market analysis reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing or a related field.
• 7-12 years of experience in retail or commercial leasing, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or team leadership capacity.
• Established network of contacts within the F&B and retail industry.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of retail market dynamics, leasing strategies and tenant categories.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal, including English).
• Solid analytical ability with confidence interpreting leasing and market data.
• Creative, resourceful and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
