Lecturer - Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics

About the role

The School of Infocomm is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated lecturer to teach cybersecurity and digital forensics courses, both full-time and part-time. The role suits people who can work effectively in a team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver modules and related activities, including student assessments and assignments, to meet learning outcomes.
• Plan, design and develop the module curriculum, learning activities and teaching materials.
• Stay up to date with developments in the profession and education by engaging with industry and professional bodies and communities.
• Maintain links with industry to promote collaboration.
• Develop capabilities through industry projects, academic research projects and professional learning communities.

Required profile

• A relevant qualification, preferably in IT or Computer Science.
• At least 1 year of industry experience.
• Proficiency in two or more of the listed areas.

Required skills

• Penetration testing / red teaming
• SOC operations and firewall configuration
• Cloud security and web application security
• IT audit and compliance, personal data protection
• Digital forensics
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH and OSCP are a plus
