Logistics Sourcing Manager – Global

About the role

The Logistics Sourcing Manager will lead global commodity and category management for goods and services that support HPE and its customers. The role focuses on strategy, supplier development, negotiations, cost reduction, quality assurance and supply continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex, international supply‑chain categories, providing data‑driven analysis and reporting to senior business executives.
• Drive supplier selection, negotiation and contract execution for critical, high‑complexity suppliers.
• Partner with suppliers on strategic development, risk mitigation, business continuity and cost‑management initiatives.
• Develop and apply supply‑chain, business and financial modelling tools to support decision‑making.
• Mentor cross‑functional teams and influence marketplace dynamics for the assigned categories.

Required profile

• First‑level university degree (advanced degree preferred).
• 7‑8 years of experience in logistics procurement or global supply‑chain functions, including surface (land) transportation.
• Proven experience leading complex, cross‑functional, international teams.

Required skills

• Advanced analytical skills and hands‑on experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with Coupa or similar procurement platforms and AI‑enabled supply‑chain solutions.
• Expertise in RFQ negotiation processes and development of procurement tools.
• Ability to draft custom contract solutions and interpret legal documents.
• Strong supply‑chain modelling and financial analysis capabilities.
