Lorry Crane Driver

About the role

The Lorry Crane Driver is responsible for safely operating a lorry‑mounted crane to lift, move and reposition loads across Singapore. You will work closely with ground crews, customers and supervisors to ensure precise material handling while adhering to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the lorry crane according to load charts and manufacturer guidelines.
• Communicate with ground crew via radio or hand signals and direct helpers to position outriggers and blocks.
• Inspect, rig, and verify rigging setups before each lift.
• Assess load weight against crane capacity to prevent overload.
• Perform daily safety checks and operator‑level maintenance on crane mechanisms and hoisting components.
• Arrange periodic maintenance and report any equipment malfunctions.
• Complete required paperwork and provide operational reports.
• Undertake ad‑hoc assignments as directed by supervisors.

Required profile

• Valid crane operator training certificate or licence.
• Class 4 or 5 driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Minimum two years of experience operating lift trucks, overhead cranes or mobile cranes.
• Familiarity with Singapore routes and PSA port procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
