Machine Maintenance Leader

About the role

GE Aerospace is looking for a Machine Maintenance Leader for its Singapore site, which is the largest engine component maintenance, repair and overhaul facility in the group and handles more than 60% of its global repair volume. The leader installs, maintains and repairs internal factory manufacturing equipment and supervises employees who carry out equipment maintenance and tool making. The role is built around a strong Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategy, has moderate autonomy and requires high operational judgment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure equipment and tools are kept in good condition for use.
• Propose and introduce a TPM strategy aligned with the plant's data fabric layers.
• Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and policy formulation.
• Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services.
• Stay informed of industry trends and use high-level judgment to make decisions on complex operational, product, manufacturing, technology or engineering issues.
• May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk and complexity, and communicate difficult concepts to influence others' options.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering knowledge and experience.
• Experience in MRO repair and manufacturing equipment, equipment and facilities maintenance, and managing a maintenance function in a multinational company with high-technology equipment.
• A strong foundation in preventive maintenance and TPM implementation in a modern high-technology plant is preferred.
• Ideal candidate combines technical expertise, strategic thinking and leadership capability, with data-informed decision-making.
