Maintenance Engineer – CCTV Security Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer specialized in CCTV security systems to join our island‑wide team in Singapore. You will troubleshoot complex hardware, software and network issues for government and enterprise clients, ensuring critical security infrastructure remains operational.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as first‑ and second‑level escalation point for maintenance incidents.
• Perform on‑site diagnosis, repair, firmware upgrades and software patching.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with vendors for advanced support and system updates.
• Configure and optimise access‑control and video‑management platforms.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules and produce detailed service reports.

Required profile

• Diploma/Nitec in IT, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 4–5 years of hands‑on experience with security‑system hardware and software.
• Technical certifications in CCTV and access‑control systems are highly recommended.
• Ability to provide standby or after‑hours support on a rotation basis.

Required skills

• Experience with Lenel, S2 OnGuard, HID/Mercury, Genetec, Suprema, ZKTeco, Axis Communications, Milestone VMS.
• Strong knowledge of network connections, SQL databases, Windows Server and virtualised environments.
• Familiarity with door hardware (maglocks, strikes, sensors, interlocks) and identity‑access management principles.
• Proficiency in video‑management software troubleshooting.
