Maintenance Technician II – Night Shift

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for night‑shift operations in its Singapore manufacturing facility. The role supports production equipment reliability through maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive activities, working closely with production and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform line‑sustaining activities, equipment repairs, and process monitoring to ensure production continuity.
• Execute preventive maintenance on production equipment and keep schedules up to date in IndySoft.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment using technical drawings, manuals, schematics, and procedures.
• Support equipment qualification activities, including setup, testing, and verification in partnership with engineering.
• Train and certify production operators on equipment operating procedures and process documentation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, and service records in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor and update operational events, preventive maintenance activities, and training requirements in designated systems.
• Promote a safe work environment by identifying hazards, maintaining 5S standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, vocational certification, or technical education.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, schematics, and work instructions.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic test equipment.
• Ability to maintain accurate maintenance documentation and equipment service records.
