Manager (Doctrine & Training)

About the role

The Manager (Doctrine & Training) is responsible for developing and reviewing doctrine and training programmes that support peacetime logistics operations. This role ensures that supply vocationalists acquire the competencies needed to meet organisational objectives and execute military tasks effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse competency needs of supply vocationalists and align training curricula with organisational goals.
• Develop and maintain guiding principles for operational and military task achievement.
• Partner with the Army Logistics Training Institute to design engaging, impact‑driven training curricula.
• Conduct training effectiveness evaluations and implement data‑driven improvements.
• Manage the execution of training programmes and build stakeholder relationships to secure buy‑in and alignment.

Required profile

• Preferred education in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Facilities Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or Human Resource Management.
• Strong stakeholder management abilities; applicants without prior experience may still apply.
• Ability to stay current with competency development needs and training requirements for supply vocationalists.
