Manager, Tax (Transfer Pricing)

About the role

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Transfer Pricing professional, who is client‑service focused, highly organized and detail‑oriented, to play a key role in the growth of the Tax business unit. As a key member of the management team, you will oversee the transfer pricing portfolio for our financial services clients and drive both client experience and team success.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on Singapore and international tax affairs, focusing on pricing implications of inter‑company transactions.
• Help clients comply with transfer pricing rules and develop comprehensive tax and transfer pricing strategies using OECD and Singapore guidelines.
• Conduct functional analysis interviews, benchmarking studies, and prepare transfer pricing documentation.
• Coordinate with Mazars global network firms on client issues and manage regional or global transfer pricing projects.
• Lead a team in functional analysis, industry research, benchmarking, and the preparation of transfer pricing policies and documentation.
• Review client agreements and documents for compliance and risk mitigation.
• Identify cross‑business development opportunities while managing transfer pricing engagements.
• Build strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and other service lines.

Required profile

• Degree in law, finance, tax, accounting or a related discipline.
• 4–6 years of transfer pricing experience, preferably in the Asia‑Pacific or Europe region, within a professional services firm.
• Experience handling transfer pricing matters for financial services clients or financial transactions.
• SCTP accreditation is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with OECD and Singapore transfer pricing guidelines.
• Proven project management, analytical and delivery management capabilities.
