Manager, Training Excellence

About the role

The Singapore Aviation Academy is seeking a Manager for Training Excellence to lead the design, development, and quality assurance of aviation training programmes. This role combines instructional design expertise with digital learning technology to enhance learner outcomes across the Academy's four schools.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end courseware development projects, from analysis through evaluation.
• Partner with subject‑matter experts and instructors to design online courses, videos, and digital assets.
• Research and benchmark emerging trends in digital learning and educational technology, providing evidence‑based recommendations.
• Implement and optimise learning technologies, including the Learning Management System.
• Provide training and support to internal stakeholders for smooth adoption of new tools.
• Design and deliver Train‑the‑Trainer programmes to build instructional capability.
• Evaluate programme effectiveness, identify best practices, and conduct internal audits to ensure quality standards.

Required profile

• Qualifications or experience in adult learning, curriculum development, instructional design, or educational technology.
• Proven track record in implementing and managing digital learning technologies.
• Strong conceptual and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with content authoring tools such as Articulate and iSpring.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems.
